New website! New month! New cheese!
Since March is upon us like a lion we are very happy to launch our new website and we can think of no better way to begin a new project than with new product for our store. We are very pleased to now offer two new cheeses to our customers:
Aged for at least 26 months this full flavored gouda has a crumbly and granular texture and very complex flavours. Notes of butterscotch, pecans and whiskey make it an excellent dessert cheese as it pairs very well with port,sherry, sweet whites and cabernet sauvignon. An excellent snacking cheese, this versatile gouda and can also be grated over pasta like a parmesan.
This award winning cheese is made from dairy cattle concentrated on a 200-square-mile area in Holland called the Beemster Polder. Come in and try some today!
Immersed in fine Merlot, this unique cross between a cheddar and a parmesan is a sure fire hit on any cheese platter. Rich and creamy, this Wisconsin cheese has hints of plum and berries as well as a slightly nutty finish. Pairs well with Merlot, Shiraz and Pinot Noir as well as Indiana Pale Ale and hoppy Pilsners. Serve with prosciutto and bread for a great appetizer or fruit and nuts for a fine dessert cheese.
